Don't You Just Wish You Could Buy Toys?

I would love to buy Marshall toys!! Instead, I have to buy him chewy tubes, and left handed utensils, a scooper bowl and scooper spoon. I wish I had money to get him a nice trampoline with handle but he's doing OK on the one we have. I wish I had the money to buy him another action figure guy but he's actually really happy to play Disney's Toontown Online so I let him.

He did not want to go to school today. He asked me to send a note saying he can't go outside so school will be over faster. I told him it's OK for him to not like school. It's even OK for him to not get a sticker. I will still love him and he will still get to play Toontown. Today is day one of the stimulant. I'll let you know how it goes. Wish us luck..

I hope the meds work for Marshall. You both need something positive right now. I completely understand how you feel about buying some toys. We are in the same boat. For Christmas when everyone wanted ideas for Josh, I had to have them get him stuff for his developmental delays... we just don't have the money for everything. And I was thinking of you today.... about the trampoline. One of Josh's OT's suggested a trampoline for Josh as well. I told her we had one of those cheap small excersize ones for our older son, but there was n way he could do that without something to hold onto he. He just learned to walk and his balance is horrible. Then I was doing some research on Sensory Disorders and came across several websites that suggested these inflatable kid enclosure trampolines... made for smaller kids. They are like those huge 300$ ones but on a much smaller scale. I found them on Ebay for around 35$, but even Walmart had one for 49$. And since it is inflatible, you can take it down and store it in a compact way. So I was just wondering if you had seen those and if maybe it could work for you. If you are interested I can send you some links. Good luck with everything!!
