I know that cascade (the DAFO company) makes special socks, but I think they are seamless. More fore comfort issue that hot or cool.
I have not found any socks that keep them cool in the summer. I'll let you know if I come up with anything.

I got an e-mail from a representative at the DAFO company. She said that on their site, they sell "cool max" socks that are seamless, and wick perspiration away from the skin. They can still get pretty warm, so she said you can also drill extra holes in your DAFOS for ventilation. Hope that helps! If you want, I can give you the e-mail address and you can ask them questions directly. :)
do either of you ever let your kids wear sandles with the DAFO's? Really sturdy ones, like Tevas? Or do you stick with the sneakers during the summer too?
