Yes and yes. I LOVE Dr. Carbone. I would follow him to the ends of the earth. I know that sounds creepy but any of you who have found a good doctor can relate I am sure. He never makes us feel rushed, he always listens to my concerns even if they are silly. He never makes me feel stupid or incompetent. He is FABULOUS! He is always willing to work JT up to the actual exam, playing with him, helping him relax. If he doesn't actually care for my son he is the best actor I have ever met. He knows so many other great doctors in other fields and can get his patients in with minimal effort.
My only complaints: Always call and confirm you have an appointment if you have a long drive. I have made the drive a few times only to find out it was cancelled and for some reason I didn't know about it.
Sometimes he says he will make a referral/prescription renewa/etc and than it doesn't happen (this never happened in his old clinic, just HOME). If you call and bug them once or twice it will happen.
Also, not really a complaint but Dr. Carbone can throw things at you kind of fast if you seem you can handle it. There have been times that we left and had 4 places we needed to call to set up appointments afterward. Don't get overwhelmed, and bring something to write it down on.
But truly, I can not say enough good things about Dr. Carbone. He has led us through many rough times and I always have felt we were on the same page and my son and I were in good hands.
I need more info on this! I just took my daughter to see a specialist in Idaho and he referred me to Dr. Carbone...!
