After my daughter got her diagnosis, I immediately switched majors and finished my masters degree in speech language pathology.

Something about being in a program that directly benefits your child with special needs... the motivation and drive... its just a little different and you will find a way to make it happen and to make it work. Just keep the faith and know that if others out there have done it, then you surely can do it, too.kshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12201064701178458053noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1817534420224769131.post-8321222525254479462009-03-15T11:55:00.000-07:002009-03-15T11:55:00.000-07:00you do the best you can! i agree with melissa, es...you do the best you can! i agree with melissa, especially with preschool through EI they are used to dealing with separation issues, delays, etc. look at the time as time for YOU and don't feel guilty for it. you know how the rest of your day will be spent.... you can do it. i went back and finished up my degree when Jaylee was 2.5, it was rough but it was totally worth it. best of luck!!!Lorihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08422497728521679173noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1817534420224769131.post-67994425467399969492009-03-15T08:30:00.000-07:002009-03-15T08:30:00.000-07:00Katie!! Anyway, I think it is great you are going back to school! I can imagine how stressful that can be, but I know things always work out. It will be an adjustment to balance it out, but you can do it. I know that JT will also have his challenges with preschool. I remember when Trevor transitioned... it was a little rough, but he did better than I thought. The good thing about EI preschool is they are used to dealing with kids who have a hard time. In the end it will all work out. If you need anything, or just someone to talk to.. please call! Oh, and we need to have another playdate! Call me!Melissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17986134596025619230noreply@blogger.com
